How Does EZPZ™ Technology Work?

The Reverse Torque Advantage: Traditional putters create torque that rapidly closes the toe through impact — demanding near perfect timing.

The first and only Reverse Torque putter. The EZPZ's forward leaning, patent pending hosel has traditional offset and points the shaft slightly toe-ward of the center of gravity. This positions 60% of the clubhead's mass below the shaft axis, creating a heel down balance.

2X your Square Zone. The weight bias below the shaft causes the heel to have increased momentum, dramatically slowing face rotation creating a “square zone” that is 2X larger than a conventional putter.

100% Milled, High MOI Mallet. A lightweight 6061 aluminum chassis with a heavy 303 stainless steel weight wing raises MOI for increased forgiveness and positions the center of gravity for optimum roll. Steel, heel-toe weights provide balanced feel at every length.

SweetFace 2.0 technology delivers consistent, tour-preferred speed and roll across the face, minimizing dispersion and eliminating dimple deflection.

SWEETFACE™ 2.0 & THE DIMPLE EFFECT:

Have you ever hit a five-foot putt that came off the face at an angle that just didn’t make sense?  You think you made a good stroke on the line you intended and for some reason the ball comes off the face of your putter to the right or left missing the hole.  It can play havoc with your confidence. 

That is the “Dimple Effect."

Golf balls have different sized dimples to reduce friction and drag.  While that’s great for getting the ball to fly, it is not optimal for getting it to roll.  A dimple is essentially a negative surface with a circular edge.  At slower speeds, a putter face can contact the edge of a larger dimple, causing the ball to roll off of the intended line.  The softer the hit, the greater the effect.  Yes, Byson is correct. 

Evnroll SweetFace™ 2.0 technology incorporates our patented progressive face groove configuration and compresses them into a wavy pattern so that the random, dimpled surface of the golf ball meets the non-linear, wavy surface of the new ORIGIN Putters.  The meeting of these two surfaces virtually cancels the dimple effect so that, “What just happened?” …doesn’t happen.
